Project:odd started life in September 2008 as a cluster of research projects by Bob McWhirter. Since then, those research projects have evolved into bonafide opensource projects, staffed by Red Hat with a fantastic team.

Odd Fellows

Bob McWhirter

Bob started Project:odd (as Odd Thesis)in September 2008. He currently herds the TorqueBox project.

Marek Goldmann

Marek Goldmann joined the Project:odd effort in January 2009. He now leads the development of BoxGrinder. In free time he works on making JBoss AS 7 available in Fedora.

Jim Crossley

Jim joined the Project:odd team in May of 2010.
When he's not blathering on about his prostate or his "sensitive skin", he works on Immutant and TorqueBox.

Ben Browning

Ben joined the Project:odd team in July of 2010. He leads TorqueBox and feels naked without his hat on.

Toby Crawley

Toby joined the Project:odd team in August of 2010. He works on Immutant and TorqueBox, and has lots of clever things to say (just not here). His greatest accomplishment is the invention of fish salt. Ask him about it.

Lance Ball

Lance joined the Project:odd team in September 2010. He's an Ashevillain.

Tom Enebo

Tom joined the Project:odd effort in June 2012. He is co-lead of JRuby. He likes beer.

Charlie Nutter

Charlie joined the Project:odd effort in June 2012. He is co-lead of JRuby. He also likes beer.

Douglas Campos

Nobody knows exactly when QMX officially joined Project:odd. He's the founder of the dynjs project and a core contributor to JRuby. He also likes beer.

DynJS is an open source Javascript runtime for the JVM.

Nodyn is a Node.js compatible framework running on the JVM

Immutant is a suite of Clojure libraries that integrate with WildFly.

TorqueBox is a suite of Ruby gems that integrate with WildFly.
